Grades - 

• Grade 1.5 - Great condition considering age. A couple bits of mothing / small holes which may benefit from darning. Buttons are in pretty good shape, some with a little tarnish. Over all fantastic condition just few areas needing light TLC, but certainly a great collection piece as is, especially as it had prior field use.

A beautiful piece of classic World War 2 surplus. This American piece is absolutely iconic, being issued right throughout the war and inspiring many generations of uniforms. The jacket would've been used in a variety of situations, mostly out of combat, such as parade and other ceremonial duties. 

The jacket is made of an all wool material and has a partial lining. You'll find each pocket has a wonderfully ornate golden button. All 4 pockets are functional and offer plenty of space for a dress jacket. Service jackets like this one truly are an amazing piece of history and wonderful for any collection.
